Me and my shares

Two years ago,my husband opened up a trading account with $2000 in it and asked me to trade and buy.His theory was that people who did not know much about shares and stocks did well in the market as they studied it.And it was a comparatively small amount.... if lost.
Good theory...my first investment was Delta, good sound decision ?No!They claimed bankruptcy soon after.
Then I got a tip that Air Tran was going to go up....bad timing again.Gas prices went crazy and I lost on that too
Next,I played it safe and invested in energy shares. Those have remained steady but I am now at a point where I am scared to check my account!
Everybody has been urging us to invest right now as its so cheap and it should go up!
My theory:If I had bought a nice designer bag...I would still have something to show for it!

Ha! I would like a nice road bike! And no....a bladder thing does not come with every run...I didn't get one after the whole marathon I ran...and I will be50 next year!! I think it was after being away from my husband for so long (wink, wink,) but I am doing well now....walked 3 miles to and from my inservice today.

Hope your leg is healing!

There is some bad news and some good news.

The time is near, but not just now.
There is still a lot of selling off left in this market. We have not seen the bottom yet. But soon it will be a great time to buy. Just bide your time.

I asked my hubby the other day, how does all this ruckous affect me?? I guess as a middle-class small business owner who doesn't even know where to buy stocks, it just doesn't affect me at all...
not yet anyway.
